New Delhi, July 4, 2023: Bajaj Auto and Triumph Motorcycles are all set to launch their most affordable yet powerful machines – the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X – in India tomorrow, July 5. Both motorcycles are based on the iconic Bonneville series, embodying the essence of Triumph.
Engine, Power and Price
The Speed 400 is a naked streetfighter, while the Scrambler 400X is a scrambler. Both motorcycles are powered by the same 398cc parallel-twin engine that produces 39.5 bhp and 37.5 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
The Speed 400 is expected to be priced at around Rs 2.9 lakh, while the Scrambler 400X is expected to be priced at around Rs 3.2 lakh (both ex-showroom).
Pre-bookings for both motorcycles are already underway. Customers can book their bikes online or at select Bajaj dealerships.
