The Maruti Suzuki has always given good quality passenger cars since 1984 and till now it has never degraded its quality. The Maruti Suzuki launched the XL6 in 2019. The design of XL 6 leaves everyone spellbound. It offered a premium 6 seater model to its customer and leveled up its standards.

Suzuki XL6 – The exterior and the styling

The Maruti Suzuki XL6 has a very bold front grille. This grille flows seamlessly into the headlamps. This gives a very sporty look to the premium 3 row MPV. It has quad-LED headlamps with DRLs. This dazzles up the roads with all-white headlamps. 4 reflected chambers on each side result in brightening and focused lightning.

A very distinct hood, with a very strong impression, sits above the front grille giving a very dominating look to the car. The chunky led fog lamps and silver skid plate makes the car look like an SUV from distance. The bumper is made muscular and a silver skid plate is added to make it tough.

Comfort and luxury on the inside of XL6

It has captain seats which provide a lounge experience. You can recline the plush leather captain seats as per your comfort. The captain seats provide more privacy and comfort. The seats have ample space, individual armrests, and many other amenities. You can get the all-black theme too. It has roof-mounted AC vents with blower control, a 12 Volt socket, bottle Holder in the doors, and one-touch controls for Windows and folding sun blinds. Suzuki smart play studio infotainment system supports both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It has also got cruise control and automatic headlamps with a follow-me-home function.

Well, there are few features that are missing. At the higher price, there are no cup holders, side and curtain airbags, USB sockets for the second row, and no diesel engine option.

Engine and performance

XL6 is easy to drive in both inside the city where the roads are always packed as well as on the highways. It is available with a 1.5-litre smart hybrid petrol engine. The BS6 compliant makes 105 PS at 6000 rpm and 138 nm at 4400rpm. This engine has a 5-speed manual or an option for 6 speed AT. It has firewall insulation which can barely make you hear the engine inside the cabin. It has a fuel efficiency of 19.01 kilometre per litre for the manual and 17.99 kilometres per litre for the automatic.

The Maruti Suzuki XL6 has also kept safety as its topmost priority and tried to give all the safety precautions. It has 2 front airbags. Suzuki’s total effective control technology is fitted for absorption and dispersion of crash energy. It also has seat belt pre-tensioners with force limiters, the full-frontal impact compliance, frontal-offset impact compliance, side-impact compliance are successfully tested, the anti-lock braking system with EBD is fitted to ensure efficient and effective braking. A standardized international child seat fitting system is also there.

The XL 6 has many color variants. They are available in Nexa Blue, Arctic White, Auburn Red, Brave Khaki, Magma Grey, and Premium Silver. These 6 iconic colors make the car look more appealing and beautiful. It has 2 models or variants- Zeta and Alpha. The variants count up to 4 with the choice of manual and torque converter gearbox.

The all-black theme gives the interior a very classy and elegant look, also the captain seats provide a lounge feeling and become comfortable for the passengers, a very refined engine is the additional factor that makes the car good and market worthy. The price for this luxury MPV starts at INR 9.94 Lakh for Zeta petrol manual and INR 11.73 lakh Alpha petrol automatic.
