Exterior & Design
The design of the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz is very thoroughly crafted and magnificently designed. It catches all the eyes on the car starting from the front to all the way to the rear. It has got a shiny grille and a chrome strip on the front which is extended towards the headlamps. As compared to its predecessor, the front bumper has got slight changes. New circular fog lamps and brushed metal finish surround the LED projector auto headlamps with DRLs. The rear part has got new signature lights and LED tail lamps. Dapper 16 inch alloy wheels, make the car look chicer. The rear bumper looks sportier.

Interiors
The interiors of the new Maruti Suzuki Ciaz are very much similar to its predecessor. So there is no wow factors in the interiors. It has got a new cruise control feature. The 4.2 inches colored MID looks very attractive. The best part about the new Maruti Suzuki Ciaz interiors is its incredible amount of knee room that it offers. It could easily accommodate 6 legs without any trouble or problem. The rear sunshade and adjustable headrest at the rear are available only on the top variants that are the Zeta and the Alpha. Features like the Smart Play studio, a 7-inch infotainment system, tilt steering, auto AC, ORVM, and reverse parking camera are included. The interior would have been entirely complete if the company would have decided to add a sunroof to the car.
Engine & Performance
The new Maruti Suzuki Ciaz engine is powered by 1.5 litre petrol with smart hybrid technology. The engine generates 103 BHP at 6000rpm and 138 Nm at 4400rpm. The engine could speed up either with a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic torque converter option. The action of the gears is very smooth and the clutch is also light. The automatic option makes it more convenient.
Safety
The new Maruti Suzuki Ciaz has not compromised in the safety features. This includes the Total Effective Control Technology Concept (TECT) of Suzuki which allows for effective absorption and dispersion of crash energy. Seat belt Pre- Tensioners with force limited are also there to prevent seat belt inflicted injury. Seat belt reminder for both the passengers as well as speed warning alert is also added. It only has dual front airbags but it would have been a perfect car at providing safety if it would have 6 airbags. It has an anti-lock braking system which prevents the locking up of the wheels when the brakes are applied. The ISOFIX child seat anchorages are offered as standard.
