Redi-GO comes in peppy 0.8L and 1.0L I-SAT engines. The peppy 0.8L engine is a 40kW (54PS) that gives a company claimed fuel efficiency of 20.7Km/l. Both the engines come mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. Datsun offers an Automated Gear Shift option with a 1.0L engine only. The entry-level cars are designed while keeping in mind the daily need of the common middle-class family. Redi-GO serves that purpose very effectively. Redi-GO looks stylish and the chrome inserts in certain elements make it bold also. The hexagonal-shaped honeycomb pattern front grille is the shows its resemblance to its parent company’s signature grille. The silver accent frame on the front grille is standard on all variants. Interior design
The space at the rear seat is sufficient for 3 adults for a short journey but will create uncomfort in longer drives. Basic amenities are provided in the cabin like bottle holders in the door, mobile storage at the front centre console, glove box and coin pocket. The inner doors handles comes in silver color in higher variants. The interior theme is designed in black in the two lower variants while the higher variants has dual-toned interiors.
The top variant features an 8-inch touch screen for the infotainment purposes. The systme is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay as well. It has voice recognition, rear view camera and bluetooth connectivity. The two speakers at the front are standard in top variants. The instrument cluster in front of steering wheel displays the basic and some advance info about drive. With effect of BSVI regulations, Driver side airbag and ABS are mandatory in the four wheelers. The same goes with Redi-GO. Its base variants equips ABS with EBD as standars which is first-in-segment. Other cars makers are offering only ABS in the same price segment vehicles. The passenger side airbag is offered only in the top variant Redi-GO T(O).
