The Porsche Taycan is the first-ever all-electric vehicle launched by Porsche which is a German automobile manufacturer. The concept of Taycan was unveiled at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. It is offered in different variants and these include saloon model, Cross Turismo, 2 door coupe, and convertible models.

Porsche Taycan
The Porsche Taycan has a full steel aluminum hybrid body. The Taycan looks really sleek. The bonnet, tailgate, and doors are also aluminum-made. The black look added in the lower valance, side window trims, door sill guards, and side skirts makes the car look very eye-catching and strong.
The Porsche Taycan has an E-performance powertrain with a permanent magnet synchronous motor on the front and rear axle. It is powered by a high voltage battery pack with a capacity of 93.4 K W H. It has 2-speed transmission on the rear axle. For the activation of dynamic performance settings including launch control, sport mode is there. Range mode for the activation of efficiency-oriented settings. This provides a thrilling shift during hard acceleration. The 6 piston aluminum monobloc fixed brake calipers at the front and 4 Pistons aluminum monobloc fixed brake calipers at the rear, makes the car stop at any hurdle immediately. The 19-inch Taycan aero wheels, give the car a very sporty look. The wheels have the monochrome Porsche Crest.
It is available in 2 powerful colors and they are white and black. It has got a big 16.8-inch curved display. The partial leather interior makes the car look classy not only from the outside but also from the inside.
Taycan 4 Cross Turismo
A more off-roading design is given to the Taycan 4 Cross Turismo. The front, rear axle, and side skirt have a very unique and distinctive design. The Porsche Taycan and Taycan 4 Cross Turismo, both have black elements and a fully galvanized steel aluminum body. It has a ground clearance level of 20 mm which is more than the Taycan. If you choose for the off-road design package then an extra 10 mm of ground clearance is provided. It gives a top speed of 220 kilometers per hour.
Unlike the Porsche Taycan, the Taycan 4 Cross Turismo has a single-speed transmission on the front axle and 2-speed transmission on the rear axle. It has got a panoramic fixed glass roof which reaches beyond the second row of seats and gives a spectacular view. On your request, you can get a rear-mounted bike Carrier fixed which can carry up to 3 additional bicycles.
It also has a 16.8-inch curved display. It is surrounded by control panels with direct touch control for selecting lighting and chassis function.

Taycan Turbo S
It is a 4 door, 4 seater sedan which makes it look like a part of the Porsche brand. The Taycan Turbo S has a very sporty look with a lowered bonnet. It is powered up to 460 KW, turbo boost power with launch control up to 560 kW, and maximum torque with launch control 1050 nm. It generates up to 750 horsepower. Like all other models of Porsche Taycan, it also has a fully galvanized steel and aluminum body. The Porsche dynamic light system plus is included in the LED matrix headlights. LED lighting is also included in the interior part of the car to make it look more appealing. The Porsche Taycan has always produced new concept cars. The Taycan Turbo is a tonne heavier. It has got no suspension management or rear-axle steering. Taycan Turbo S Cross Turismo
The Taycan Turbo S Cross Turismo offers new rear fenders, a longer roof, and a new rear hatch in the place of a trunk. It has got subtle moldings and the standard air spring. Hence this gives some more ground clearance to the Taycan Turbo S Cross Turismo. It offers more space than the Sedan. It weighs more than 5000 pounds.
It has got 2 electric motors- one at the front axle and one behind the rear axle. Porsche is delivering more upgraded versions of Taycan every time with powerful performance, looks, and features. Its global deliveries rose to 71,987 approximately cars in the first quarter. The sales of the Porsche Taycan have been very strong and nearly matched those of the iconic 911 sports cars.
